Australia Day

As always, Australia Day coincides with Graham's birthday. This year it was the big four oh, so my parents wanted to make it special. They came over for lunch with a Dr Who DVD and an icecream cake from Nice Cream. We had barbecue duck followed by the cake, then Mum and Dad looked after Louka while we went to see a movie (Avatar, in 3D), for the first time since Louka was born.


The movie turned out to be three hours long, so Louka was without us for longer than she's ever been, and when we got back I listened for crying, but no, she was fine. She didn't even come running to me when I walked in. My parents were a bit tired though, and headed straight home.
