Swimming lesson

Louka had her first swimming lesson on Monday. I had to wake her from her morning nap to get there on time (and we were still a bit late) so I wasn't sure if she'd be grumpy for the lesson, but she wasn't. She enjoyed the whole thing, except when she had to float on her back (with me holding her). She cried, screamed, arched up her head and legs ― there was no way she was lying flat. The instructor said to keep trying, three seconds at a time, and I guess the same thing will happen next week...

After the lesson Sara and Lauren, Dee and Jake, Nicky and Jazzy and Louka and I sat under the shadecloth outside and the babies had lunch. Very pleasant.
